Emaho Magazine was founded by Manik Katyal in 2011 with the objective of promoting and showcasing the best creative talent on offer. While it highlights the Asian creative scene, it is not just an Asia-specific site. Although our core focus is on photography, we are more than a photo magazine. Iconoclastic, hip and edgy, Emaho, based out of India, is truly at home in the world.
Strong sections on travel, music and arts & culture bring you up to scratch with the latest and most cutting edge international developments across these fields. Featuring one-on-one exclusives with the world’s top-notch musicians, photographers, curators, installation and fine artists, and travel writers, the magazine aspires to create a global artistic community – our footprint extends to 40 countries – that transcends national borders.
Our attempt is to mix the old up with the new, the local with the global, the established luminary with the rising star. Right from the beginning, our intention was also to provide a powerful platform to upcoming professional talent across fields – not amateurs, but fresh, unique and path-breaking new talent that deserves to be promoted and spotlighted on the world stage, yet often does not get the opportunity.
